“ Service was ok but the food made up for everything. I was very pleased with the four dishes I ordered (yes I know I'm a piggy). I couldn't believe the way every ingredient complimented each other and blended in tastefully. ”
“ This restaurant has such cute, cozy ambiance! I love the wood booths and water fountain decor. Staff is very friendly and polite. The food was very good, i ordered the peanut curry and really enjoyed it. The Pink noodle was also tasty, as well as the spicy soup. Be warned, their Hot spice level is definitely hot, so be prepared! I will definitely be back when i am craving cozy thai cooking. ”
“ A solid 5/5 experience. Everything from the food, the ambiance, the service was great. Food: got chicken skewer, a diced chicken salad, a soup, a diced chicken with egg (M2). Wow. Very flavorful. All cooked to your spice preference. Not overtly salty. Soup was creamy, slightly sweet, and salty and savory all at the same time - a delight for the taste buds. The M2 (see menu) was the highlight. Spicy thin diced chicken in a savory sauce paired with a runny egg. Chicken skewer had a unique thai taste. Service: on point. Quick. Returned quickly for refills. Answered all menu questions. Pleasant individuals. Ambiance: never see a mom pop asian restaurant so well decorated. It is very authentic inside with thai ornaments. Not high end but culturally unique. Would come back for sure. ”
“ The food is incredible and not at all expensive, especially compared to other Thai restaurants in metro detroit area with similar portions. The interior is larger than you would think with nice lighting and cute decorations! The only thing i would say is maybe turn down the music a little but that is just personal preference. The staff was very friendly and provided great service ”
“ Wow amazing!!! Interior is spacious and wonderfully decorated. Staff is super friendly. The food was absolutely amazing. So happy that we found this place. This was some of the best Thai food that I have had. This will be my new go to Thai restaurant for sure. ”
“ Finally some Thai food with flavor! And a Thai place that is open all weekend and Mondays! Only closed on Wednesdays. Hit this spot because our usual haunts the quality and taste of their food is slipping. Pad Thai tastes like nothing, basil fried rice, one piece of basil, no flavor, etc. The place is very pleasing inside, and the preset the tables with rose napkins, which is a nice touch. The servers were fast and attentive. I loved the fresh rolls! Not every place makes them, and not every place makes them well. They were fantastic here, but the peanut sauce wasn't peanutty enough for me. They gave us spring rolls as well, with plum sauce, both were standard flavors. Hubby absolutely loved his green curry and the humungous pieces of eggplant. I ordered the spicy pad thai which was eh, but I'm excited to try their pad se ew and drunken noodle. I never get pad thai, but it was hubby's bday and he wanted me to get it. Thought I'd be sad to see Sala Thai go, but Hun Baan ”
“ Located in an unassuming little strip mall, this Thai restaurant was a pleasant surprise how fantastic it was. The interior is the right balance between traditional elements and some colorful kitsch. The service was friendly and quick, everything we ordered My friend and I shared the green papaya salad, a dish we had in Thailand, and found theirs comparable, it was so fresh and flavorful. I would go back to order this again. I had the pad see ew, and she had a curry. You are able to pick the chili level, and it can get spicy if you ask for it. We ended with their (seasonal) mango sticky rice, just the right level of sweet. I would definitely return. ”
“ Authentic Thai cuisine. Available with or without peppers. The venue is very tastefully decorated with both western and Thai-style seating. I was a tad bit worried that our group of 12 had only one server. She did an excellent job! Will I return? Yes! ”
